There's so many stories on how God is working in Haiti! He is all over this land, in His people and his light shines up to Heaven out of this country and across all lands.

On Wednesday, our awesome team leader, Amy, encouraged me by giving me a word. It's a scripture that talks about joy and being anointed from Isaiah 55 and 61. The very next day, I was reading scripture from Isaiah 35 and I saw the face of the Pastor's wife, Bonita. I needed to act in faith. While we were at VBS, I asked one of the interpreters to help me speak to her. I told her that as I was reading this scriputre, I thought of her and I started to read it. She stopped me about half way through-asked me to clarify where I was reading (Isaiah 35). She said that she has been studying that scripture all week and that it has "taken her to her knees" in prayer and praise. The night before, she had just spent 2 hours praying to God based on this scripture and that me speaking it to her was just an affirmation that God is working hard in her life.

Before we left home, I attended a service that had "nothing to do with this mission trip." During that service a woman of faith prayed that all of us attending would be equipped, anointed and blessed. Through all these woman, today I feel more equipped, anointed and blessed. God is working in each of our lives! Ask the Lord-he will answer. My heart is touched and my soul filled!   ~Trish
