Upon arriving at John’s Lorient’s house in Merger, Holly, El, Jess, Guyna, Brittaney and Abby were greeted with a panoramic view of the Port-au-Prince Bay and a house covered hillside that ascends steeply from the waters that surround most of Haiti.

After a receiving a warm welcome from John’s family, everyone decided that they wanted to sleep on John’s house’s flat roof.

John’s house became home. Meals were eaten in John’s house. Team times were held in John’s house. Banana Scrabble became the game of choice in the evenings.
Team intentional ministries involved VBS’s, visiting an orphanage, home visits, visiting a tent city, helping with a construction project, ATL’s and more.
