Here are a couple of experiences from team members...

We had many God experiences throughout our time in Haiti outside and inside our walls. From our team all working together in a servant type manner to watching the Haitian children interact with our children during VBS throughout the week. We were so much more blessed by this week. I got to love on a little 1 year old guy. His 9 year old brother would look for me to provide care for his 1 year old brother while he participated in the VBS activities. It breaks your heart at first when you see the poverty but they are happy/passionate Godly people, despite their poverty. I wonder if our blessings are our courses?

Our last night here, as some of slept outside, which I might add was wonderful, we went to sleep to a church service that started at 9 PM and went to 2AM. As Haitian's do not have the luxuries, they welcome church worship. So who is/was blessed?

Wow! Words can not express how encouraged I am leaving Haiti! I thought for sure I was going to have culture shock when I arrived but surprisingly I didn't. My heart just ached for all of the Haitian people and everything they have/are going through before and after the earthquake. After spending a week with these incredibly Godly people, I feel so inspired to bring the Haitian people's amazing faith back home to Pa. As I sit here typing this outside waiting to go to the airport, I started watching some ants carrying food off to their colony. It's so amazing how ants and the Haitian people are so much alike. They both have an amazing sense of community and teamwork! WOW! I feel like my faith his been completely refreshed and rejuvenated! Bondye beniw! (God Bless)
