I Know There Is A Purpose

Father God, I know your hand is mighty on this trip. Though we may not see the results this side of heaven – I know there is a purpose, a plan, a blessing to be had. The ripples from this week – Father may they be multiplied. Far and wide as you work out your purpose for us here this week.
What seeds have been planted? Whose who house has been blessed by something a child brought home? How have the staff been blessed by our authenticity? Whose doors are being blessed by a single prayer breathed in faith? What has been changed in the lives of those left behind that your great name will be glorified? How has our mission team been challenged, affirmed, blessed, and changed? What about me – what has been challenged, affirmed, blessed or changed?
Lord God, may these be the things we take home – more than pictures, dirty clothes, bug bites, or souvenirs. Let it be our memories, our relationships and experiences – the full knowledge of changed lives.
In Jesus’ Holy Name – Amen.
