Experiencing Haiti has changed my heart forever.

Before arriving, I hadn't given the language barrier much thought and wasn't sure how much English would be understood. I quickly realized that there was an evident language barrier,...but I realized there are so many universal actions for love. A smile, a hug, a wave, an act of kindness, an act of gratitude, acts of service.

I was quickly reminded that Jesus showed His love, by service and kindness. It is not enough to simply say the words. The biggest ministry tool is an act of love, and everyone needs and appreciates it.
